A quick and easy play recipe for edible baby-safe play dough.

Here's our favorite play recipe for edible baby play dough without all the yuck added salt!
I first created this baby play dough recipe when I grabbed three containers of baby cereal on sale...
Then my baby tasted bigger and better things and decided to boycott the oatmeal so we were left with a boat-load of baby cereal!
This recipe is safe for those little hands and mouths to explore all the benefits of sensory play!

Let's make it!
You'll need: baby cereal, vegetable oil, corn starch, and water
In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup baby cereal and 1/4 cup corn starch
Add 1/8 cup water and 1 Tablespoons vegetable oil
Mix well
Add more water as needed and knead on a clean surface
After playing, store in a sealed bag in the refrigerator for 2 days

Ways to play: Squish, squeeze, grab, and smash! Form balls to stack for your baby to knock over. Stick some craft sticks for your baby to pull.
This activity requires adult supervision.
